Castle Creek Christian Academy is founded by experienced Christian educators who understand education, curriculum, teamwork, and administration. Most importantly, they’ve built a center that reflects the type of environment that they would want for their own children. Castle Creek and the children within are blessed to have a phenominal group of teachers who are proven to lead a team to much success.
With sixteen years of Early Childcare experience, Kelly has found this job field to be the most rewarding. She has a passion for children, and has adopted two of her own. This love for children, in addition to her background, education, and degree in Accounting, provide the ideal components for her role as Director. Kelly has five beautiful children, and claims many more within these four walls. Her past times include running in the outdoors, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends. Tammy has 29 years of experience in the Early Childcare field. Along with her administrative experience, Tammy carries most of her experience working directly in the classroom. She has worked with all ages, including newborns through 5th grade. She has also worked with special needs children in many capacities. She enjoys living in Flower Mound with her husband Ryan. Her daughter attends Castle Creek in the afterschool program. She enjoys cooking, reading, music, and time with family and friends.
Paula was born and raised in Texas. She is a widow who is semi -retired and the mother of 8 and a grandmother of 28. To say she loves kiddos is an understatement. She has years of experience as an Adminisistrative Assistant in schools and churches. Most recently, she worked as a nanny for several families. She has a passion for children , loving and caring for them helping them learn that Jesus loves them, too. She is extremely excited to be able to serve the children and parents of the CCCA family.
Angela has many years of experience working with children, and has three beautiful girls of her own. She graduated from Jenkins High School in Florida, where she lived for many years. She recently moved back to Texas, to be closer to her family. She is excited about working in Castle Creek, and wants to guide children's creativity, and hopes to help them find new ways to learn. She enjoys reading the Bible, spending time with her children outdoors, and cooking with her family.
Tammy is originally from Amarillo, Texas. She moved to the DFW area seven years ago. She stayed at home with her two sons for their early childhood years. She then started working in the childcare field. Her two sons are now 14 and 16 years old. Tammy and her husband have been married for 20 years. She is excited about getting to know each of the children at Castle Creek as she prepares the meals and serves them each day. "I love working with children because they constantly amaze me! Christina has 22 years of experience in the early childcare field. Also, she has an Associates Degree in Child Development. She has worked with all ages, including newborns, throughout her 22 years. She has also worked with special needs children. Christina moved here from California, with her husband and three children. Christina is so excited to be a part of the Castle Creek family and can't wait to be a part of your child's life.
Originally from Tamaulipas, Mexico, Estela has lived in the DFW area for more than half of her life. With 17 years of child care experience, she hopes to bring love and charismatic joy to all the children at CCCA. Her hobbies include listening to different genres of music, dancing, cooking and baking! Communication is important not only with the family at home, but with her close friends as well. Her two sons now 18 and 13, and her daughter who is 5, have been the blessings of her life. She loves to work with kids of all ages, but has a special place in her enormous heart for infants and toddlers. She believes setting a proper and jovial foundation at a young age brings the best for the future of the next generation. Estela is blessed to be a part of the team and hopes to bring a fun and enjoyable vibe to both children and staff at CCCA.
Breann is originally from Florida, but has lived in Flower Mound since 1995. She graduated from Lewisville High School, and has been working in childcare for 15 years. Breann enjoys spending time with her husband Chris, and her sons Caleb, Colton, and Cooper. Colton, her middle son is one of the cute preschoolers that attends Castle Creek, and Cooper is one of the adorable Infants! Her hobbies include Church, reading, scrapbooking, photography and running. Breann loves what she does and feels blessed to be a part of the Castle Creek team.
Jennifer has over 10 years of experience as an Infant, Toddler, and Early Preschool Teacher. She feels that it is such a blessing to be able to help mold children while watching them learn and grow. Jennifer has earned a Child Development Associate from Tarrent County College. She enjoys crafting, singing, and interior design. Jennifer can't wait to build lasing relationhips with the students and families at Castle Creek Christian Academy.
Gladys has over 15 years of experience working with children of all ages. She has been blessed with the opportunity to watch many of these children grow up and become successful in life. It is one of her greatest joys. As a teacher, she plans to instill each child with the love of the Lord, as well as a confidence in themselves. Gladys believes her job as a teacher is to nuture the children as if they were her own. Gladys is over joyed to be here at CCCA, and looks forward to getting to know each child.
Savannah is so excited to be a part of the Castle Creek team. She is curently working on her degree in Education. She developed a love for children from helping raise her nephews, who are 9 and 10. Savannah believes learning is very important and hopes to make it as fun for the children as possible.
Brenda is originally from Georgia, and has over 20 years experience in teaching children. She has worked both in public and private schools, with the bulk of her experience gained in Texas. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Valdosta University. She has been happily married to her husband Dana for the last 17 years, and they have one child, who attends Castle Creek after school program.
Sarah has been in childcare for a while. She first worked at a preschool in Little Elm for a year and a half. Then she worked at Treehouse Academy for a year. She has a high school diploma and has some college education. She is going for her Associate of Arts Degree with a major in Social Work. She is trained as an X-ray tech and in CPR. Sarah is interested in photography, cooking, being active outdoors and traveling. She is the only girl in her family with four brothers. Learning, teaching and interacting with her students is important to her. She wants to help them grow and to bring joy and love to her kids and to help them be who they want to be for the future. Sarah believes a teacher has to have patience. Every individual learns differently. She would like to have a lot of hands-on activities.
Breshai has worked for several years in a church daycare and nursery. She was a youth leader in her church at the age of 17. She is a Ranchview High School graduate and a graduate of Regency Beauty Institution of Cosmetology. She is certified in CPR/First Aid and AED. She is interested in traveling, cooking, learning new things and meeting new people. Breshai has 12 nieces and nephews and 3 siblings. She loves watching the children learn and grow. She hopes to become a psychologist. She understands that when children are at the age of development, things change. She wants to form great bonds and educate your children and watch them grow.
Shea has a lot of experience in babysitting. She loves kids and teaching them. She enjoys teaching little kids new things. She hopes to be a teacher at CCCA for a long time.
Deysi has around three years of experience working as a Spanish teacher. She also helps with the development of fine and gross motor skills. Deysi has training in Classroom Management, Parent Communication and Classroom Structure. Deysi has two children of her own. It is very important to Desi that children feel cared for, loved and protected and that they learn by playing in a safe environment. She would like to finish her studies and get her certification as a teacher. Deysi is the type of person who has the ability to bond with her students and understand their feelings and emotions.
Kelsey is our new Lead Teacher in the Toddlers class. She is 25 years old and just moved to the Dallas area from Texarkana. She worked at a Rising Star 4 child care center in Texarkana for the past 3 1/2 years. Teaching is a huge passion of Kelsey's. She loves children and believes that a child begins learning from the time they are born. She is honored to get the opportunity to teach your child and watch them grow.
Hali has had a lot of experience with kids while volunteering in the Boys & Girls Club and coaching basketball and volleyball. She graduated from Gainesville High School and is in her second year at North Central Texas College. She loves working with children and was happy to get this job. She wants to better understand kids and carry it with her in her future as a teacher.
Jaden has years of experience taking care of children. She is interested in reading, listening to music and photography. She enjoys taking her dogs to the lake. Jaden hopes to become a Kindergarten teacher one day. She loves teaching and being a part of these children's lives. She wants to make their learning experience fun and easy.
Taryn has six months of experience as a pediatric CNA/HHA, three years as a camp counselor, after school care, childcare at church, a VBS group leader, and babysitting. She is the oldest of four girls. She has a BS in Psychology and some nursing school. Taryn is interested in singing, art, walking her dog, knitting, photography and hiking. She wants to make a positive impact on children's lives. She believes that learning should be fun and interactive! It is important to use multiple teaching methods because all students learn in their own unique ways.
Greg has had a lot ofe xperience with kids. He has worked for 10 years in Youth Ministry, 4 years in Boys and Girls Club, 2 years at Central Texas Children's Center and 4 years at Kid Grace Learning Center. He loves making a positive impact on youth. He believe she should be relevant, creative and effective.
Jordan has been a nanny for several years and has babysat since middle school. She started working in her church nursery at the age of 13. She is almost a Dallas Baptist University graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She enjoys investing in children, helping at church, and spending time with family and friends. Jordan hopes to become a public school teacher in the DFW area so she can have an impact on many children. She believes every child deserves someone that gives them high expectations, teaches them and helps them grow. Teaching a child is so much more than giving them information; it is equipping them for the rest of their lives.
